Explanation

The specis Tracer is adsorbed on the surface site >kd with a K\(_D\) value of 0.5 L kg\(^{-1}\). The surface site >kd is present of the surface KdSurf, which is itself present on the (fake) solid KDsolid. In the calculation, the K\(_D\) value is combined to the KDsolid concentration to calculate the amount of Tracer adsorbed on the surface of this phae. The site_density value (1 mol m\(^{-2}\)) has no importance. The surface is associated to a diffuse layer (1 in this example) so that charge balance can be maintained in the whole system if the sorbing species is charged. The Kd EDL model corresponds to a non electrostatic model.
